ast knowledge

Connect and manage the account's knowledge stores
View as Markdown

Connect a database to the active account as a knowledge store, then inspect or remove it.

ast knowledge <subcommand>

knowledge connect

ast knowledge connect --provider <provider> --name <name> --host <host> --port <port> \
[--database <db>] [--username <user>] [--password <pass>] [--api-key <key>] \
[--private-link] [--skip-health-check]

--provider takes postgres, qdrant, redis, neo4j, or pinecone. Prompts for the password when neither --password nor --api-key is set. Credentials are stored encrypted.

Astropods checks that it can reach the database. If the check fails, the store is saved with an error status, and you reconnect it once the database is reachable. Pass --skip-health-check to skip the check.

With --private-link, --host takes the VPC endpoint service name (com.amazonaws.vpce.<region>.vpce-svc-...). The command then waits until the PrivateLink endpoint is ready. Approve the pending connection request on your endpoint service while it waits. See Connect a private database.

knowledge list

ast knowledge list [--json]

knowledge status

ast knowledge status <name> [--json]

knowledge credentials

ast knowledge credentials <name> [--json]

Prints the store’s credentials as KEY=value lines.

knowledge delete

ast knowledge delete <name>

Asks for confirmation before it deletes the store.
