# Create chat conversation

POST https://astropods.com/api/v1/deployments/{deploymentId}/messaging/conversations

Creates a conversation and returns its id. Optional: a client may instead
choose its own UUID v4 and use it directly on the first send. The messaging
sidecar owns persistence; astro-server forwards the request in transit only.
